About Josh

JMO-0012

I am interested in theology, and in particular integrating theory and practice. I am currently a PhD student at Claremont School of Theology studying Practical Theology (concentration: spiritual care and counseling; clinical spiritual care). Therefore, I am especially interested in integrating theory and practice in a spiritual care context. For me, this context is as a hospital chaplain (focusing on pediatrics) and an Army Reserve chaplain (dissertation research on the spiritual implications in [either] moral injury or PTSD ).

Clinically I am a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) through Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). I completed four units of CPE (through ACPE) at Methodist Hospital of Southern California. I completed my MDiv at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
